These are some favorite pictures of a few of my favorite people, places and things.

I've loved lighthouses and trains for as long as I can remember.

This is Heceta Head Lighthouse here in Oregon.

Here is my Aunt Grace on her 95th birthday. (She passed away at age 96-1/2 in May of 2001.)

She has been one of my dearest treasurers, my champion and friend for my entire life.

AUNT:  A cherished friend and personal cheerleader who will always see you through rose-colored glasses.

That was my Aunt Grace.

And here's my newest little friend, Nathan.  He lives next door to me and is sooooooooooo adorable!. He gives new meaning to "the wave."

Huge thanks to Beth and Patrick for letting me play with him to my heart's content.

Kathy and I were roommates in college.  We saw each other again for the first time in 27 years at a Lamar Reunion in 1997.

It was a long time to go without talking to my dear friend who can read my mind and is my biggest supporter. She's also a wonderful mother, and the best friend a girl could ask for.

My friend Catherine came to visit last year.  She's my Goddaughter's mother and has been a good friend for many years.  This photo was taken at a roller skating rink.  She skated...I watched.

Two sides of my friend, Christy

This was supposed to be a photo with Michael. But Dale Kristien, his Christine, is as close as I got.  Michael had already left the building.
David, Scott, Kara, Ryan, Alexandra and Diana went on a field trip to OMSI.  (For those of you who are not from Oregon, it's pronounced as one word, and stands for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.)

Here's an oldie but a goodie.  It's a picture I call "THE GRANDS"

It's my Grandmothers and my Grandfather.

Hang on Mildred!

My friend, Teri, came to visit, and we went to Crater Lake.

And here is Teri 20-some years later with her family when she visited them in Chicago the Summer of 2002.

They didn't plan it, but everyone dressed in very classic black and white ensembles.

And speaking of old times...

It's hard to tell because I am covered head to toe (well, it was cold up there).  Here I am at Willamette Pass on a ski trip with Kara.

The first time I was on skis (at about age two, I'm told), I cried because it kept snowing on my skis and I didn't like it because they were getting "dirty."

I knew you'd want to see this photo, too, so here I am at two.  Stylish scarf, don't you think?

The skis look almost as long as the ones I had on at Willamette Pass, don't they?

My feet are shorter, though.
